Duca degli Abruzzi Alpine Museum
Courmayeur preserves some interesting testimonies of the past: the parish church of the Saints Pantaleone and Valentino which was rebuilt in 1722, and that still has the Romanic bell tower, recently restored; the XIV century Malluquin Tower and an ancient fortified mansion built in 1391 in Entrèves.

Duca degli Abruzzi Alpine Museum
Alongside a collection of minerals and local fauna, this museum holds souvenirs of memorable feats of the Alpine Guides, a plastic model of Mont Blanc, old photographs and venerable ice-axes. A display cabinet holds books on mountain huts and summits, with notes by the Alpinists, as well as notebooks with customers' comments on the excursions. You will also find here relics of the expedition to the north pole organized by the Duke, as well as considerable material illustrating the development of climbing techniques.
